The Government Shutdown and Dumbarton Oaks Park
Dear Friends and Neighbors of Dumbarton Oaks Park, All 401 national parks across the country are closed due to the shutdown of the government, including the much-loved Dumbarton Oaks Park right here in Georgetown. Because the ramifications vary widely, it is important for you to have the pertinent information to fully understand what this means for Dumbarton Oaks Park. All volunteer projects including Weed Warriors are curtailed as well as other restoration projects including the work on the Old Stone Pump House. Check our website for rescheduling of these activities. All of the walking trails are closed to visitors for the duration of the shutdown. Latest Updates:
