Elisa Peirano has been working as an Environmental Education Intern at Dumbarton Oaks Conservancy throughout this semester. She is currently pursuing a degree in International Business, with minors in Economics and Sustainability at The George Washington University. Elisa is committed to incorporating her passion for the environment into her future career. At Dumbarton Oaks Park Conservancy, she has worked with Director of Education, Christine Morano Magee constructing curricula for the Park’s Leave No Child Inside environmental education programs with the purpose of creating fun ways to teach children the importance of the outdoors, nature and stewardship. Elisa hails from Torino, Italy and in her free time she enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and downhill skiing.
