Getting Started
Independent Sector, the leadership network for nonprofits, foundations, and corporations, spent 4 hours in Dumbarton Oaks Park friday, June 27th. They were very successful in finishing the fern planting, removing lots of regrown bush honeysuckle, japanese honeysuckle, porcelainberry, buckthorn, multiflora rose and numerous other species from along the Old Farm Road. We had fun! You can see into the meadows more clearly and the trees and spice bush are free of twining vines. Check out the pictures of their great work.
