Lindsey Milstein, President & Board Co-Chair
Lindsey has served as a Dumbarton Oaks Park Conservancy board member since 2012 and, since 2014, is serving as president. She is co-founder of the Conservancy’s Leave No Child Inside Environmental Education Program created in 2014. Prior to advocating for the restoration and preservation of Dumbarton Oaks Park, she founded and led DIG, a landscape design-build firm based in the Pacific Northwest.
Elizabeth ‘Liza’ Gilbert, Treasurer & Board Co-Chair
Liza is a landscape designer based in Washington, DC. Since 2012, she has served as a board member of Dumbarton Oaks Park Conservancy and since January 2019 is serving as Board Co-Chair. She received an MA in landscape architecture from the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University. She has worked at the New York firms of Michael Van Valkenburg Associates and Judith Heintz Landscape Architecture: at Douglas Reed Landscape Architecture, Cambridge, MA; and at Giannini & Vagnetti Architetti in Rome, Italy. She had the honor to serve on the Commission of Fine Arts from 2014-2019.

George ‘Buzz’ Seltzer, 2nd Vice President
Mr. Seltzer retired from 3U Technologies LLC., an ocean engineering and specialty engineering firm, in 2014 as Vice President of Engineering. He holds bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Landscape Design from George Washington University. He retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Commander in the Civil Engineer Corps after serving for 22 years.

In 2016, Long was named to the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement, which annually recognizes the most outstanding leaders in advertising under 40. She has served on the AAF’s Hall of Achievement Executive Committee as well as President of New York Women in Communications (NYWICI).
Ruth Abrahams Founded, in 2013, Ruth Abrahams Design, a studio and consulting practice, with a focus on design solutions and visual branding for museums, arts organizations, and businesses. Prior to founding her Studio, Abrahams was Director of Editorial and Graphic Design at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) from 2004–2013 and Design Director at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
